About Us
The Author
Kassandra Lemons has grown up around the mountains. As a military brat- her father and mother provided opportunities for her to get on skis early in life. It wasn’t till they nestled back into their home town of Park City, Utah where she found a passion for spreading the love of skiing to generations to come.
As a first time author, and former youth ski instructor at her local mountain- she decided to follow in her sisters footsteps by creating a playfully illustrated board book to help encourage kids to get outside and excite them with skiing.
Kassandra works full time in the tech space as a Strategy and Operations Manager, and when she’s not working or thinking of the next project- she’s playing outside and spending time with her husband and dog (Lambeau).
The Illustrator
Nicholas Sivils is a completely self-taught artist from Gainesville, Florida. He moved to Vail, Colorado and began working as a ski-lift operator while drawing, painting, and sketching mountain scenes any chance he got. It has since been a dream of his to illustrate children’s books that mix beautiful mountain landscapes with fun, kid-friendly images.
